Warranty
All Mimaesis pieces come with a voluntary warranty on top of the standard warranty under the Australian Consumer Law. Our voluntary warranty offers protection for the consumer against defective, malfunctioning or incorrect jewellery from our online store at www.mimaesis.com and pop up stores for 6 months from the purchase date. The piece will need to undergo assessment by one of our jewellers. Under our warranty, Mimaesis will provide the consumer with a repair, replacement, store credit or (in some cases) a refund. Please note that the Australian Consumer Law depends on circumstance and will sometimes extend past the Mimaesis warranty period. The voluntary warranty provided by Mimaesis does not override your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Covered under warranty:
Mimaesis will provide a repair, replacement, store credit or refund for defective jewellery that is at the fault of the manufacturer.
Mimaesis will provide a repair, replacement, store credit or refund for orders in which the wrong item/size has been posted.
Exclusions to warranty:
Mimaesis does not offer repairs, replacements, store credit or refunds for items with general wear and tear. This includes, but is not limited to tarnishing, stone fading and surface scratches.
Mimaesis does not cover items that have been accidentally or deliberately damaged, or handled against our care instructions, under our warranty. This includes but is not limited to, scratching or cracking stones, bending, or chains snapped by force. Please adhere to our jewellery care guide.
The warranty will be void on any Mimaesis jewellery with repairs or modifications that weren’t performed by a Mimaesis jeweller.
Mimaesis does not offer repairs, replacements, store credit or refunds on jewellery purchased through our authorised stockists. It is up to the discretion of the stockist as to how they will rectify the matter in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law. Please contact the store in which you purchased from if you have any questions.
Mimaesis does not cover change of mind purchases or wrong size orders under our warranty. Please refer to our size guide prior to purchase.
Mimaesis is not responsible for lost or stolen jewellery and does not cover this under warranty.
Making a warranty claim

SHIPPING
Mimaesis offers express, tracked shipping domestically through Australia post and internationally through DHL. These are third party companies and are not affiliated with our brand. Mimaesis is not responsible for any damage caused during the postal process or for lost packages. It is up to the discretion of the postal service to rectify any issues in a manner they see fit. MADE TO ORDER & READY TO SHIP
Some Mimaesis pieces are made to order. When making a purchase, please keep in mind and make allowances for a possibility of a 10 business day production period. Items that are in stock will be shipped within 2 business days. RESIZING & REPAIRS
How to get a resize/repair
If you would like to get an item resized or repaired, please fill out our contact form or email hello@mimaesis.com and one of our jewellers will be in contact with you shortly. In most cases, rings can be resized 2 sizes above and below the original size, depending on style and stone placements. Once we have received all relevant information, we will send you a quote estimate.
Quote Estimate
The first quote will be an estimate of the price to repair or resize the piece. Please note that these quotes are subject to change upon arrival and jeweller assessment. We will not begin any alterations without your approval and payment. We can only provide alterations on Mimaesis products at this time. Once the quote is accepted, you can package up the piece and post it to our workshop.
Postage
Mimaesis is not responsible for the cost of postage for alterations. This cost is to be paid by the customer regardless of whether the alterations take place. For pricing, please contact your postal provider.
Final Quote
You will receive a final quote upon arrival and jeweller assessment. Once full payment has been received, we can begin your alteration process. This can be paid either by direct deposit into our bank account or via a secure payment link that will be sent via email.
